As a longtime Cupertino resident, I know our excellent schools, safe
neighborhoods, and thriving tech economy make our city an exceptional
place to live. However, infighting at City Hall and the Council's
inability to work together threatens our collective future. I am running
to be an independent voice on City Council- to break the gridlock and
fight for our quality of life. As general manager of the Cupertino
(Inn) Hotel and Cupertino Chamber of Commerce President, I hold the
experience and perspective to create the city our residents deserve.
I was honored to receive the 2017 Cupertino CREST Award for
outstanding service. As your Councilmember, I will work to ensure
Cupertino remains in the Top 20 Safest Cities in America.
I will continue to advocate for entrepreneurs and businesses recovering
from the COVID-19 pandemic and promote the use of sensible city
planning to address traffic congestion and build resilience to climate
change. And, I will hold developers accountable to build housing that
makes sense, so young families and seniors have the opportunity to stay
and thrive in our City. Let's move Cupertino forward and build a legacy
that we can be proud of. I humbly ask for your vote.
