SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
ROLL CALL
At 5:33 p.m. Mayor Steven Scharf called the Special City Council meeting to order in the City
Hall Conference Room A, 10300 Torre Avenue.
Present: Mayor Steven Scharf, Vice Mayor Darcy Paul, and Councilmembers Liang Chao, Rod
Sinks, and Jon Robert Willey. Absent: None.

COMMISSION INTERVIEWS
1. Subject: Interview applicants for commissions and committee with terms expiring in
the Public Safety Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Audit
Committee
Recommended Action: Conduct interviews and make appointments to the Public
Safety Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, and Audit Committee

Paul moved and Sinks seconded to appoint Angela Chen to the Audit Committee to a
full term ending 1/30/24. The motion carried unanimously.
On January 27, 2020 Council conducted interviews and made the following
appointments:
