Application No.(s) EA-2015-01 (CP-2015-01) Applicant: City of Cupertino Location: citywide Review of the Five Year Capital Improvements Program(FY 2015-2016 to 2019-2020)for conformity to the City's General Plan ❑ Additional Discussion o Review limited to first year funded projects: o Replacement or reconstruction of existing facilities - (Service Center parking lot modification),would be CEQA exempt(Section 15311) o Minor City infrastructure projects — (ADA improvements throughout the City, Simm's House removal, bicycle and pedestrian facility improvements, turn pocket extension at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Perimeter Road),would be CEQA exempt(Section 15301) o Repairs/renovations and minor maintenance of existing facilities projects — (Sports Center resurfacing of the tennis courts,Wilson Park Building kitchen upgrades, Quinlan Community Center room lighting replacement, Quinlan Community Center fire alarm panel upgrade)would be CEQA exempt(Section 15301) o Minor Alteration to Land — (Senior Center landscaping, Wilson Park landscape improvements, street median irrigation and plan replacement), would be CEQA exempt (Section 15304) o Overall projects in total will not pose any significant environmental impacts o The Blackberry Farm Golf Course renovations, Blackberry Farm Splash Pad, Lawrence- Mitty Park development, Blacksmith Shop Forge Restoration, Mary Avenue Complete Streets project, McClellan Road Sidewalk Improvement — Phase 2, sidewalk improvements on Orange and Byrne Avenues, Bicycle Transportation Plan update, and design and construction of gutter and sidewalks between Granada and Olive Avenues projects will require their own, separate environmental reviews ACTION: Recommendation for approval of a Negative Declaration for EA-2015-01 MOTION: Aarti Shrivastava SECOND:Barry Chang NOES: none VOTE: 4-0-0 OLID BUSINESS None Respectfully submitted, 111 Beth Ebben Administrative Clerk
