RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DECLARING
CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF
APRIL 14, 19Z0
WHEREAS, by proceedings heretofore duly had and taken a general municipal elec-
tion was held in the City of Cupertino on April 14, 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the votes thereat (including absentee votes) were received, cast and
canvassed, and the returns thereof.ascertained, determined and declared in all respects
as required by law; ~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Cupertino, as
•follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are, and each,of them is, true and correct and
this Council so finds.and determines.
2. The City Clerk be and is hereby instructed to enter this resolution on
the minutes of this Council as a statement of the result of said election.
3. The total number of ballots.received and cast in the City (including
absentee ballots).at,said general municipal election was 4,221 ballots.
4. The list of candidates nominated for the office of Councilman at said
general municipal election and the names of the candidates which were set forth in
the petition assembled and filed with the City Clerk, as required by law, and the
number of votes received and cast in favor of each of the candidates was as follows:

6. That Donald A. Frolich and Raymond A. Green received the highest
number of votes cast for the office for which each was a candidate and said persons
were thereby elected to said office for the term as prescribed by law, and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to sign and deliver thereto a Certificate of Election and
to administer thereto the Oath of Office prescribed in the Constitution of the State
of California.
