NOW~ THHREFQRE, BE IT 1t~SOLiIED that the City o£ Cupertino daes
hareby support the L'OI1G!'pt of a special vehf cle-us~ fee in tl~e amount
of Ten Dollars (~10.00) ~~er vehicle to flnance additional portions of
the County-wide highNay system and c~oes urge ~nd iequ~5t th~ California
State Leg,islature to enact en~~bling legislation xhich will authorixe
the CQUnty o~ ~a~nta Clara ta ~x~ercise the option of levying a special
vehicle-use £ee in the amount af Ten Dollars (S10.C0) per vehicle for
~ thQ purpase of financing a County-wide l~ighwray system.
