ORDINANCE NO. 1693
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CUPERTINO AMENDING CHAPTER 16.40 OF THE CUPERTINO
MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN that Section 16.40.250 of the Cupertino Municipal Code shall be amended to
read as follows:
"16.40.250 Stationary teak storage, above ground, outside of buildings.
Section 79.501 is amended to read as follows:
Storage of Class I, II and III liquids in above ground tanks outside of
buildings is permitted only in areas caned as industrial or quasi-public. Storage of Class
I, II amd III-A liquids shall be within special enclosures, as defined in Section 79.902 (c)."
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its passage.
INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Cupertino
the 7th day of August, 1995 and ENACTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Cupertino the 5th day of September . 199 by the following
