Smith, Director of Facilities for Symanter, and a phone conversation with j incoln Properties, the owner of the property, revealed that the building was built in 1984. Use of Asbestos Containing Building Materials (ACBM's) in most construction halted in 1976. By 1980, all ACBM's were phased out of use in construction. _Conrlusiom and Recomme&.gA ns Based on the recent age of construction (1984 for Shared Tech and 1992 for Finance 1 and 2) and a visual inspection it i.; appears ihighly unlikely that these areas ever contained ACBM's. The pro- posed Tenant Improvements should proceed with no concerns of negative environmental impacts from ACBM.
