Several Items of concern have been brought to our attention regarding the
above referenced lot of the Oak Valley subdivision. We are writing this letter to
state that at this subject lot we have reviewed the as -built conditions and found
that the following items are within substantial conformance to the intent of our
design.
1. It is acceptable to have Simpson "HD" style holdowns raised off of the
sole plate as installed.
2. The use of the coupler nuts, with fully engaged threads, as installed at the
stacked HD10A holdown arrangement at the living room/dining room wall
is acceptable.
3. It has been found by analysis that the as -built drag tie connections
between the bottom chords of the roof trusses beside the stairway
opening are acceptable.
