2) E-mail comments by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14 to the legislative body at
teencommission@cupertino.gov. These e-mail comments will also be posted to the City’s
website after the meeting.
Oral public comments may be made during the public comment period for each agenda
item.
Members of the audience who address the legislative body are requested to complete a
Speaker Card and identify themselves. Completion of Speaker Cards and identifying
yourself is voluntary and not required to attend the meeting or provide comments .

REGULAR TEEN COMMISSION MEETING
CALL TO ORDER
At 6:10 p.m. Chair Biswari called the Teen Commission meeting to order.
ROLL CALL
Present: Biswari, Chen, Garg, Lau, Liu, Su. Absent Misra, Mukherjee. Staff: Sonya Lee.
CEREMONIAL MATTERS AND PRESENTATIONS
1. Subject: Youth Led Organization, Ecovalley
Recommended Action: Receive a presentation from Youth Led Organization, Ecovalley,
for Teen Commission Highlight Program.
Teen Commissioners received a presentation from Ecovalley.
2. Subject: Youth Led Organization, Active Circle
Recommended Action: Receive a presentation from Youth Led Organization, Active
Circle, for Teen Commission Highlight Program.
Teen Commissioners received a presentation from Active Circle.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
3. Subject: Approval of Minutes – February 12, 2025
Recommended Action: Review and approve the minutes from the Teen Commission
meeting on February 12, 2025.
Vice Chair Chen moved to approve the February meeting minutes as submitted.

4. Subject: Ecovalley for Teen Commission Highlight Program
Recommended Action: Discuss and evaluate Ecovalley Youth Led Organization for
Teen Commission Highlight Program.
Commissioner comments:
• Not unique, but still ok to highlight.
• Pictures were cool and the bags that they made were cool.
• There are a lot of organizations that are similar, but they have good dedication.
Commissioner Lau moved to approve Ecovalley for a Teen Commission Highlight spot.
Vice Chair Chen seconded the motion. Motion carried with 6 yes and 2 absent.
5. Subject: Active Circle for Teen Commission Highlight Program
Recommended Action: Discuss and evaluate Active Circle Youth Led Organization for
Teen Commission Highlight Program.
Commissioner comments:
• The picnics and egg hunt were nice events.
• They seem to have a large impact.
• They are very dedicated.
• They do so many different things.
• The organization has existed for a long time.
• The purpose seems vague, but still good.

spot. Commissioner Liu seconded the motion. Motion carried with 6 yes and 2 absent.
