Case Manager 15 October 2021 City of Cupertino Department of Community Development- Planning Division Purpose: Temporary Use Permit TUP-2021-003 Project: Temporary Skylight Mockup Structure 12 Results Way, Cupertino, CA 95014 To Whom It May Concern, We are pleased to present the attached drawings as required to receive a temporary use permit. As described in the attached drawings and application forms, the project consists of construction of a temporary structure to support eight skylight glazing panels as a mockup for review of aesthetic appearance. The glazing panels will be attached to a scaffold structure designed by a licensed professional engineer. The structure is not intended for use or occupancy and access will be restricted to authorized personnel only. The structure will be located in the parking lot north of the office building at 12 Results Way, temporarily displacing 14 of the 1,247 parking spaces within the office complex. The mockup structure is expected to remain in place for approximately two weeks after completion. Following the two-week period, the structure will be dismantled and removed from the site by the contractor. Disturbance to the site will be limited to the minimum necessary to install the scaffolding and fencing. Trees and pavement will not be disturbed. The site will be returned to its previous condition following removal of the temporary structure. Following approval of this temporary use permit, a building permit application will be submitted for approval.
