Problem
Pine needles have all turned brown.
Observations
o Tree is planted next to property line fence. Trunk Circumference 84".
o Tree is Dead
o Appears to have succumbed to bark beetle infestation.
Discussion
o Dead trees, as they decay over time, loose structural strength and integrity.
o Dead trees have a high potential for failure.
o Dead trees pose a fire hazard.
o Should tree or parts of tree fail, the most likely targets would be the neighbor's back
yard and/or house, the Association's common area sidewalk, or nearby Townhome.
Conclusion
o This tree has the potential to fail and if it does, may cause serious property damage or
personal injury.
o This tree should be considered hazardous.
Recommendation
Removal.
