Observations o Trunk Circumference 113" (CBH). o Tree in severe decline. At least 60% of upper canopy is dead. o Appears to be infested with bark beetles. Discussion o There are no known effective chemical or biological control. o Dead limbs, as they decay over time, loose structural strength and integrity. o Dead limbs have a high potential for failure. o Dead limbs pose a fire hazard. o Should tree or parts of tree fail, the most likely targets would be the Association's common area sidewalk, street, or nearby Townhome. Conclusion o This tree has the potential to fail and if it does, may cause serious property damage or personal injury. o This tree should be considered hazardous. Recommendation Removal.
