The testimony from the community regarding the need for a masonry wall was taken into consideration in this finding. The Commission recommends that the wall be aesthetically pleasing. At the regular meeting of October 14. 1996, the Cupertino City Council approved the architectural and design modification with the following amendments: • The applicant shall be allowed to construct either a standard 8 ft. high masonry pre -cast wall with a "Mediterranean style" imprint or the combination wood/concrete design. This wall shall be uniform around the development. • The combination of concrete and wood wall is approved as depicted on the Exhibits A and B. The double i'x 6' vertical redwood lapped boards shall be a heartgrade redwood with tight knots.
