This letter confirms the decision of the Cupertino Planning
Commission, given at its regular meeting of June 12, 1989 to approve
the subject application according to the findings and conditions
specified in the enclosed copy of Planning Cmmiission Resolution No.
4165.
Subsequent suimittal of materials for building permits or other
entitlements will be checked for compliance with the Use Permit
Revision diagrams; discrepancies may result in processing delays.

OF THE PLANNING CO:MIISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
FINDING THAT THE REVISED ELEVATIONS FOR A CHURCH
SUIIDING ADDITION OONSTTIUTE A MINOR AMMUMrr Ta THE
ORIGINAL USE PERMIT.
SECTION I: FINDINGS
«EtFAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino received an
application for interpretation of a minor awjxb ent to a Use Permit, as
described on Page 2 of this Resolution; and
{-FiEREAS, the applicant has met the burden of proof required to support
said application.; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed architectural
modifications described on Sheets A, H and C of Applicatiopn 2-U-88 (Rev.)
are minor in scope and constitute and improvement in the orignal design
concept:
1. Elimination of the gap between the existing and proposed second
floor portions of building one.
2. Overall reduction in height of the roof height profile.
3. Elimination of cantilevered building sections and a more pleasing
proportion of first floor to second floor building space.
4. Retention of the essential character of the original design concept
with sbmilated columns and pediments on the west elevation.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and
other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for Use Permit
Revision is hereby approved.
That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified
in this Resolution are based and contained in the Public Hearing record
concerning Application 2-U-88 (Rev.) as set forth in the Minutes of the
Planning Ccnmdssion Meeting of June 12, 1989 and are incorporated by
reference as though fully set forth herein.
