Apple's original intent for the Center was to increase capacity by locating modular buildings(Phaze�on the adjace�t lot to the north of the ocisting building. The daign concept(or this apansion was presented at the time applintion was made for Phue I. The Use Permit as grented allows 150 students,an on•site staff of 40 and hours of opendon from 7:00 AM to j 7:00 PM during weekday5. The Center is currently licensed for 74 childten and hu 67 children enrolied. It should be noted that although the licensing board will allow 74 children the ntio capaciry for the Apple Child Care Center limits that number to 70. Approxirtutely 17%of the enrollment have siblings who also attend the center, Therc are 20 full and part tlme staff inembers. The current houcs of opendon are 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. At this time Apple is requadng a modification to the approved development plan as per item number 9 0(the Use Permit Expansion is being requested towards the rear of the exisdng facility nther than to the north on the adjacent lot A modular building is being proposed fot thit expatuion. The enciosed package includes plans and ele�adotu showing the location of the propoeed expansion,the"look"of the modular building and revisions eo the parking to accomm«late the increase in enroilment and staff. � The addidon of a 9G0 squaee foot modulu building will increase the cencer s apaciry to 80 children.The center ? will most likely be licensed for 8&90 children. The staff will increase to 24 full and patt time employees. The hours of op�tadon will not change. The building being proposed is 26'8"wide by 36'long with grooved wood siding painted white to match the existing out buildings. 'llx coof has a 3"in 12"pitch and aiil be cwered in uphalt shingla. Some minor landscaping work will aiso take place to eliminate, repalr, replace and r�locate various landscape and hardscape elements within the area of expansion.
