The Director reports his decision to the City Council and Planning Commission in time to allow any Councilmember or Planning Commissioner to appeal the decision within fourteen calendar days, Application Application 32-U-77 (Mod.). Personal Communications Services (PCS) Wireless Utility Facility: installation of a utility cabinet and 6 five foot panel antennas on the roof of an existing storage locker building. The applicant is Pacific Bell Mobile Services. Description The antennas are not visible from neighboring properties nor from Interstate 280 (see photo montage). Regarding possible impacts from radio frequency exposure, exposure to persons inside a building on which antennas are mounted would be similar to a cordless phone and less than a typical operating microwave oven (see Exhibit 1 for a comparison graph). No personnel will be on site, and there will be infrequent maintenance visits. The Director of Community Development approves the installation of the facility according to the plans provided (T-1, A-1.1, A-2.1, C-1. C-2).
