RESOLUTION NO. 1730
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A REQUEST FOR USE PERMIT TO
ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF 25 SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES IN A
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT ZONE.
APPLICANT: B.A. S. Homes, Inc.
ADDRESS: 20823 Stevens Creek Blvd. , Cupertino, California 95014
SUBMITTED: June 24, 1977
LOCATION: Easterly of and adjacent to Beardon Drive at the northeast
corner of the intersection of Beardon Drive and Greenleaf Drive
FINDINGS AND SUBCONCLUSIONS:
Denial is recommended subject to the subconclusions as set forth in the
Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of September 12, 1977, and the
findings as stated below:
1. Full development of the subject site in a conventional low density
residential manner is inappropriate because of the lack of interface
with existing or future uses within the North De Anza Boulevard
Conceptual Planning Area.
2. That because of the proximity to shopping, schools, employment
opportunities, etc. , the subject site can support higher densities.
