Subj.: Minor Modification of 16-U-74 to allow the addition of a new lunch pavilion at the back entry for Apple
Computer Inc. at Valley Green 6, 20705 Valley Green Drive, Cupertino, CA 95014
Chapter 19.132 of the Cupertino Municipal Code allows for administrative approval of minor changes to a
project. The Director reports his decision to the City Council and Planning Commission in time to allow any
Councilmember or Planning Commissioner to appeal the decision within fourteen calendar days.
Application:
Minor Modification of 16-U-74 to allow the addition of a new lunch pavilion.
Description:
The applicant is proposing the addition of approximately 220 sq. ft. lunch pavilion flanking the back entry to the
building "Valley Green 6" (see enclosed sheet no. 2). The pavilion structure is defined and supported by steel
tubular pipes and is open on the sides. The roof consists of skylight panels.
Action:
The Director of Community Development deems the modification minor and approves the lunch pavilion.
This approval of the modification is effective June 20, 1995. The fourteen day appeal period will expire on July
4, 1995.

to'lditions contained herein. If there is a conflict, the use permit
conditions of this resolution shall take precedent. In the evert a
use permit is revoked or expires, the conditions of approval contained
herein shall automatically take precedent.
17. The land use intensity shall be limited to an intensity that will not
generate more than 16 one-way trips per acre during the peak traffic
hour.
18. The property owners/developers shall'provide future tenants with a
written notice regarding potential traffic problems within the North
• De Anza Blvd. study area. Said notice shall stipulate that the City
reserves the right to review traffic conditions within the area at
anv time in the future and should the Citv determine that constraints
to ensure proper traffic movement is necessary, the City may impose
the appropriate constraints. This may take the form of staggering
of work hours by tenants, modification of hours of operation, or an
organized car or van pooling program and transit bus pooling program.
A copy of said written notice shall be signed by the lessee and for-
warded to the City prior to occupancy of the building.
i9. Cho ap-plicant shall record a covenant to describe the trip acre
constraint and the total number of trips allocated to this particular
?evelopment prior to building pe wit approval. The covenant shall be
worded in a manner to suggest that the future purchaser of properties
