_ OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT A PUBLIC HEARING
BE SCHEDULED TO CONSIDER AN AMENDMENT OF THE GENERAL
COMMERCIAL ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT DRIVE-UP
WINDOW FACILITIES WITHIN THE CITY OF CUPERTINO.
The Commission finds that the data contained in the February 6, 1976
Planning Staff Report entitled "Report on Drive-up Facilities" and
the February 5, 1976 report entitled "Carbon Monoxide and Sulfur Oxide
Levels Attributable to Use of Drive-up Window Facilities" warrant the
scheduling of the abovementioned hearing to carefully consider the
merit of prohibiting drive-up window facilities in the City of
Cupertino.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of February, 1976, at a regular meeting
of the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California,
by the following roll call vote:
