DeAnza Blvd.) Requesting approval of a monument sign and a monument style freestanding directional sign for a single tenant office building on the west side of N. DeAnza Blvd. southerly of Mariani Avenue. ASAC Decision Final Unless Appealed • ENCLOSURE: 1 Model Resolution 2 Exhibits F and F-1 of Application ASAC 51,776.1 3 Resolution 1279 and Exhibit F-1 of ASAC 51,716.1 COMMENTS: A. A sign program has already been approved for this site under ASAC Resolution 1279, and includes a larger freestanding sign than is included in the present proposal. B. Staff suggests approval of the present case without regard to the prior action; the developer then has the option to Implement either program until June, 1988 or the alternative plan only after June. A sign program has already been approved for this site, which consists of both retail and office uses, under ASAC Resolution 1294, however, the freestanding sign portion thereof was continued for redesign. B. Staff suggests approval of the present case is premature until a comprehensive freestanding sign program is developed for the entire center of which this building is a part. Site does not have 500 feet of street frontage such that two freestanding signs are allowed.
