approval of landscaping and lighting as required by conditional use
permit for a 37,000 sq. ft. expansion to an existing retail center.

II. BACKGROUND
Condition 18 of Use ,,Permit;48riJ87 requires formal ASAC review of
exterior lighting and,, in of the Precise Development
Plan required under Planned" ',',Development zoning. The condition
directs specific attention to ASAC input given at the informal
review stage (See Minutes of 10/12/87).
III. MAJOR ISSUES

Protection of adjacent residences from glare produced by new
pole -mounted parking area lighting fixtures.
- ASAC
Concurred with applicant's suggestion to fit,electroliers with
lighting devices similar ,.to wallmounted fixtures which have a
sharper cut-off angle.
Approval of application 48 U-87' per the findings and conditions
specified in ASAC Resolution No. 1360.
