(MIYAKE RESTAURANT), Requesting approval of a Planned Development Sign Program for a restaurant to be located on the east side of De Anza Boulevard, north of Bollinger Road. • ISSUES: - None (no discussion) ITEM 2) rI DECISION: On a 3-0 vote, ASAC 51,873.1 was approved per the findings and conditions contained within the model resolution. ISSUES: - Clustering of trees - Species of trees to be planted CONSENSUS: Coast Live Oaks are acceptable in lieu of Camphor Trees as they are. drought tolerant. The address shall be included on the monument sign. 11. The monument sign shall have a base higher than 1' 4" and a sign face not to exceed 6' x 6'. 12. ISSUES: - Type of trees to be planted - Replacement trees to be planted DECISION: On a 3-0 vote, ASAC 26-U-88 was forwarded to the City Council with a recommendation for approval per the findings and conditions contained within the model resolution, with condition 10 modified as follows: 10. A minimum of two 48-inch box specimen trees shall be planted to replace the specimen Redwood that was removed from the site. ISSUES: - Number of signs - Location of building mounted signs - Materials proposed for replacement fencing DECISION: On a 3-0 vote, ASAC 51,874.1 was forwarded to the City Council with a recommendation for approval per the findings and conditions contained within the model resolution, with condition 10 modifeid as follows,: 10. A maximum of two wall mounted Shell signs, including the Shell emblem, may be placed on the canopy or the spandrel, with no more than one sign on each elevation. condition 12 deleted, and two conditions added as follows: 12. The chain link fence with redwood slats shall have a strict maintenance program. 13.
