OF THE ARC ITECI ]RAL AND SITE APPROVAL CON='EE
OF THE CITY OF CJPERTINO APPROVING A PLANNED DEVEIDPNMT
SIGN PROGRAM! FOR AN APPROVED HOTEL

LOCATION: De Anza Blvd. at Rte. 280
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with regard
to this application:
1) That the proposed sign program exceeds the.rnnnber of .advertising
devices and dimensional limitations for Commercial identification
prescribed in Section 17.24340 of the Sign Code. However, the ASAC
finds that additional signing allowance is justified in this case
due to the scale of the project and its location within a developing
urban complex.
CONDITIONS:
1-8) Standard Architectural and Site Approval Conditions to the extent
that they do not conflict with the special conditions listed herein.
In the event of conflict, the specific conditions listed herein
shall prevail.
9) The recommendation of approval is. based on Exhibit F of ASAC
51,655.1, except as may be amended by conditions specified herein.
10) The south facing wall mounted display indicated on Exhibit F is not
approved and shall be eliminated from the sign program.
11) A street address number shall be added to each face of the proposed
freestanding monument sign., Final location of said sign shall be
subject to approval of the City Traffic Engineer prior to issuance
of installation permits.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of June, 1986, at a regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State
of California, by the following roll -call vote:
