RESOLUTION NO. 924
OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
SITE, ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPING FOR 7,700 SQ. FT.
OFFICE BUILDING.

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to
this application:
1. The proposed development is consistent with conceptual approval granted under
Planning Commission Resolutions 2004, 2005, 2006.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions:.. to-,.the:extent':`that.they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event
a conflict'does exist, the special: -.conditions -as enumerated.her.ein:shall
apply.
® 9. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A lst Revision, B, B-1,
B-2, B-3, and C of this application except as may be amended by special
conditions. contained herein.
10. The bike area and trash enclosure shall be located in.the vicinity specified
by Exhibit A 1st Revision.
11. The proposed handicap stall at the west side of the parking lot shall be
deleted in favor of a standard sized stall. The surplus 2.5 ft. width shall
be appropriated to the northerly planting area (adjacent to the Mann Drive
driveway).
12. An additional handicap stall' --shall be provided adjacent to the southerly
handicap stall, with a ramp provided between these stalls. A standard
stall shall therefore -,be deleted.
13. The northerly -most handicap stall shall be deleted.
.14. The walkway extending from the Stevens Creek Boulevard public sidewalk to the
building shall be flaired between the sidewalk and property line.
15. In satisfaction of Condition 19 of Planning Commission Resolution'No. 2004, an,
acoustic consultant shall certify at the building permit level that the proposed
sound wall will provide a satisfactory noise attenuation barrier between the
peripheral parking lot and adjoining single-family residence. In particular,
said report shall detail typical parking lot sounds (doors opening, engines
starting, etc.) and measures necessary to retain a quiet environment on the
residential side of the wall.

16. The gasoline pump�arid'storage tank are approved with the following conditions:
a. Complete satisfaction of all Building Department/Central Fire District
specifications.
b. Relocation of the pump to the northwest vicinity of the building, as per
Exhibit A Iste Revision,
C. Protective devices, such as cement -filled steel bollards, shall be installed
adjacent to the pump,
17. Signing and lighting are continued to a later date.
18. The -,sound wall shall be permitted to have a slumpstone appearance, and
shall be colored dark brown,
19. The approved roofing material shall consist of wood shakes,
20, The landsc;age plan shall be modified in the following manner, subject to staff
approval:
a. Install additional landscaping in place of original trash enclosure
location adjacent to Stevens Creek Boulevard,
b, Increase screening of parking lot as viewed from Stevens Creek Boulevard,
Mounting and dense planting materials:.are suggested,

the Architectural and Site Approval Committtee of the City of Cupertino, State of
