Reso 0954HC-51,015.715 RESOLUTION NO. 954 -�j OF THE ARCEITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SITE, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPING AND APPROVING A SIGN MODIFICATION FOR AN EXISTING RESTAURANT SITE (FORMERLY GOURMET NO. ONE AND MIKE'S HERO SANDWICH.ES). PROPERTY OWNER: Pauline W. Woodruff and Ethelwynne D. Wilson APPLICANT: Javelin Corporation ADDRESS: 533 Airport Boulevard, Burlingame, CA 94010 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: 20840 Stevens Creek Boulevard FINDING: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this application: 1. That the proposed redevelopment of this site, as amended by Conditions of Approval contained herein, is in conformance with City of Cupertino ordinances and General Plan provisions. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that ® they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. - 0 9. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits A, B, and C-1 of Application HC-51,015.715 except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 10. The fourth parking stall from the northern property line shall be widened to 12 ft. and designated for handicapped purposes. The sidewalk adjacent to this stall shall be provided with a depressed :ramp, subject to City of Cupertino Standard Detail requirements. 11. The applicant shall certify in writing an acknowledgement of employees (1:1) and seat (4:1) restrictions which are related to the 26 parking stalls on this site. An estimate of the number of employees shall be provided to staff. The proposed 96 seats shall be reduced in number as deemed necessary to meet parking requirements. 12. A screen shall be provided for mechanical roof equipment. A cross-section detail shall be provided illustrating that the screen will preclude public viewing of the equipment. Materials shall be compatible with the building's architectural elements. The screen shall be subject to staff approval. - 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 954 HC-51,015.715 13. Exhibit C-1 shall be revised to incorporate shrubs adjacent to the west property line, and the placement of a specimen Olive tree in the front yard area. 14. Signing shall be revised as follows: a. Maximum sq. ft. = 50. b. Lower sign so that it does not project above top of roof. C. Approved colors - brown background, yellow letters. 15. ASAC or its staff shall retain the ability to review and require correction of light intensity impacts for any sign or lighting fixture approved under this application. 16.
