Reso 0959HC-51,526.1 RESOLUTION NO. 959 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMENDING APPROVAL TO EXCEPTION TO SECTION 19345.40 (Al) OF SAN JOSE ZONING CODE TO ALLOW FREESTANDING SIGN ON A SITE THAT DOES NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED MINIMUM STREET FRONTAGE. PROPERTY OWNER: John Christensen APPLICANT: Cal Neon ADDRESS: 1601 Almaden Road, San Jose, CA 95125 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: 1455 Saratoga -Sunnyvale, Cupertino, CA 95014 FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to this application: 1. That the existence of a specimen Redwood tree on this site precludes the applicant from attaining adequate identity by means of building -mounted signing. 2. That the granting of this exception is consistent with the purpose and intent of the City of Cupertino Sign Ordinance. ® CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 9 1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 9. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits F and Informational of Application HC-51,526.1 except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 10. ASAC or its staff shall retain the authority to review and require correction of any off -site lighting impacts for the sign approved under this application. 11.
