OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
APPROVING A.FREE'.STANDING MONUMENT SIGN AND TWO
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS, AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A
WALL SIGN IN EXCESS OF THE SIZE PERMITTED BY
SECTION 6.03.2 OF ORDINANCE 746.

FINDINGS:
The Architectural and Site Approval Committee finds as follows with respect to
this this application:
1. The monument sign and two south elevations directional-signs--arein�keeping
with provisions of Ordinance -746.•. '
2. The proposed size of the graphics sign is appropriate for these reasons:
a. Due to the isolated location of this retail business establishment, the
proposed graphics will not clutter the visual environment of the City.
Such a sign may not be appropriate in a "strip commercial" area.
b. The proposed graphic display is integrated with unique architectural
elements of the new Any Mountain building.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL:
1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they
do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the
event a conflict does exist, the special conditions enumerated herein:s.hall
apply.
8. The recommendation of approval is based'upon Exhibits F and Fl of this
application except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein.
9. The detached monument sign and southerly building elevation directional
sign are approved.
10. The westerly elevation sign is recommerided`for.approval with'the following
conditions:
a. Internal illumination is permitted only for the letters "Ski Training
Center".
40 b. Spot lighting is permitted subject to staff approval.

:11. ASAC or its staff shall retain the authority to review and require
correction of any off -site lighting impacts for signs approved under
this application.

Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
