Reso 0879t HC-51,392.21 HC-51,392.6 RESOLUTION NO. 879 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO APPROVING MODIFICATIONS TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT SIGN PROGRAMS FOR A SINGLE TENANT INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST AND NORTHEAST QUADRANTS -OF NORTH DE ANZA BOULEVARD AND MARIANI AVENUE. PROPERTY OWNER: Sobrato-Berg Properties APPLICANT: Four -Phase Systems Inc. ADDRESS: 10700 North De Anza Boulevard, Cupertino, California 95014 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southeast & Northeast corner of N. De'Anza Blvd &:Mar'idn`i Ave. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FINDINGS: The Architectural and Site Approval;',Committee finds as follows with respect to this application: 1. That the approved modifications achieve an overall reduction in size and message content of signing for subject sites, consistent with the intent of Ordinance 746 as contained in Section 1.03.3(b) of said ordinance. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: 1-8. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions to the extent that they ® do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 9. The recommendation of approval is based upon Exhibits F, F-1, and F-2 of Application HC-51,392.21 except as may be amended by special conditions contained herein. 10. Exhibit F shall be reduced in length to approximately 6 ft. The words "Four -Phase" and "Main" shall be deleted; a street address number shall be incorporated into the sign message. 11. The location of the sign depicted in Exhibit F-1 shall be subject to staff approval; said approval shall consider the future location of the "City of Cupertino" free-standing entrance sign to be located on the North De Anza Boulevard median. 12. The two entrance signs depicted on Exhibit A of Application HC-51,392.6, previously.approved by the Architectural and Site Approval Committee, shall be modified to reflect the following revisions: a. Maximum allowable dimensions of 8'.3:' x 3' 611. b.
