A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted an application for a ground
sign for Standard Oil Service Station with exhibits regarding the
property as indicated:
PROPERTY OWNER: Mardesich Company
APPLICANT: Standard Oil Company of California
ADDRESS: P. 0. Box 730, San Jose, Calif. 95106
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southwest corner of the intersection of
Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road and Stevens Creek Blvd.

FIRE ZONE: 2
WHEREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Committee has
reviewed the application with regard to the areas of aesthetics
and site pan,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS
approval of the signing subject to the following conditions:
1. That the sign post be located within the planter
area adjacent to the corner of the property with
the sign to be situated outside of the minimum'
40-foot site triangle as indicated on Exhibit
C attached.
All conditions outlined herein are subject to approval of the
City Council and their action is required for final approval
of this application.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1970, at a
regular meeting of the Architectural and Site Approval
Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by
the following roll call vote:
