A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL CO2LMITTEE OF THE CITY
OF CUPERTINO
WHEREAS,, the applicant has submitted an appl cat_on requesting approval of site,
grading, landscaping, lighting and undergrounding of utilities for a gasoline
safes/car wash facility with exhibits regarding the property as indicated;

WHEREAS, the_Architectu-ral and Site Approval Committee has reviewed the application
with regard to the areas of aesthetics and site plan,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED TIMT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS approval of .Site., grading,
landscaping, lighting and undergrounding of utilities, subject to Ha Control
Standard Conditions and as indicated on Exhibits A. A-1, A-2, and and subject to
the following additional conditions.
l_o That the areas des- gnated for "Tan Bark Ground ^o-,%er" on the ?1jes
Drive .lot .frontage shall be redesignated to pro -,,Tide for `'Hader°
C,anariensis" ground cover.
2e That the plant ``Pittosporum Tobira" shall be extended northward replacing
( the ''Veronica Eva_isii" o (The "Variegata" variety can be used optionally
on an alternating basis.) Said variety is to be of the five (5) gallon size.
3 That in order to insure the coordination of landscaping in conjunction
with future development on property to the west, the landscaping on the
westerly boundary shall be subject to review at such time as development
plans are: submitted for the adjoining westerly property.
4o That the underground sprinkler systel-n shall be designed in a manner so
as to enable the placement of street trees on Alves Drive and Saratoga -
Sunnyvale Road. -
5. That the landscaping/site plan shall be subject to revision at such
time as,a ground sign application is approved at the corner radius
area of the propertyo
6. That the existing high level light adjacent to the Alves Drive ingress
be removed and replaced by the approved low level light fixture.
Also stated. was the architectural and signing portion of the application be
continued.
All conditions outlined herein are subject to the approval of the City Council
and their action is required for final approval of this application.
