A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE
CITY OF CUPERTINO
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted an application requesting approval of
site, architecture and undergrou.n.ding.of utilities for a commercial building
with exhibits regarding the property as indicated.

w1i.EREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Committee has reviewed the
application with regard to the areas of aesthetics and site plan,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS approval of the site,
architecture and undergrounding of utilities, subject to H-Control Standard
Conditions and as indicated on Exhibits A. 2nd Revision A-1 and B and subject
to the following additional conditions:
1. That the planting strip paralleling Stevens Creek Boulevard and the
front of the building for the full length of the middle to be a
minimum of twelve (12) feet in width mounded in the center area with
a total mound height of four (4) feet, the minimum earth part of the
mound could be two (2) feet. The parking area at the front,
paralleling Stevens Creels Boulevard, adjacent to the twelve (12)
feet will have the ends of such parking area fully landscaped.
2. That the entrance onto the site adjacent to the Bank of America
is to be one-way only..
3 That the parking adjacent to Stevens Creek -Boulevard along the
planting strip is to become 60' parking. The parking on the
opposite side of that main entrance drive will also be 600 parking.
The parking shown in the middle of the general parking area of the
site will be turned 900 and abutted to the site area for the
building under consideration.
4. That the center of the planting area of the 900 turned parking will
contain a walkway of approximately ten (10) foot width which shall
contain a minimum of four trees in boxed containers suitable for
replanting
5. That the aisle paralleling future Bandley Avenue will be one-way
out only.
6. That the plantin:g`strip.paralleling Bandley Avenue shall be increased
in width to seven (7) feet within the property line

7. That the area to the north or rear of the site shall contain a
planting strip, a minimum of five (5) feet in width, extending
the full width of the site.
$. That the easterly ;property line adjacent to the Bank of America
property will contain a planting strip a minimum of six (6)
feet horizontal to the building and ten (10) feet as shown at the
building.. This planting of six (6) feet shall extend the full
north -south property line.
9. That the northeast end parking bay shall be deleted and that space
shall contain a. refuse area to be enclosed with a minimum six (6)
foot high wood fence.
10. That in regard to the building, the wood siding shall be redwood
plywood or redwood boards at the applicant's option.
11. That final approval of the roof and imitation slumpstone exterior,
to be withheld pending review by this Committee of the actual
sample of the materials.
12. That the planters shown on the exhibits on either side of the
entrance to be deleted.
13. That the applicant is to return to this Committee for landscaping
and lighting submittals.
All conditions outlined herein are subject to the approval of the City
Council and their action is required for final approval of this application.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 1972 at a regular meeting of
the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino,
State of California, by the following roll call vote:
