Discussion: Should Tree Grates, Tree Supports, or Lamp
Poles be painted in the Monta Vista Area?
Presentation: Staff stated that the MontE-. Vista Design
Guidelines do not specify a color f or lamp poles,. tree
supports or tree grates. It was pointed out that the major
development under the guidelines (D.C.E. building, southeast
corr:er of Pasadena Avenue and Stevens Creel: Boulevard) has
selected a dark green color for the lamp poles. After some
discussion, it was determined that the lamp poles should be
painted a flat black to loot-, as closely as possible to a
wrOUght iron color. The Wrought iron tree grates and
wrought iron tree supports were to be left unpainted.
