Mr. ;lair said it was a choice of looking at a fence or into a backyard. Chairman Sargent pointed out that ordinarily houses did not back on main streets. Member Sallan said proposed landscaping looked as though it could be attractive, but grade difference at fence minimized landscaping. Mr. Muir said he did not think homeowners would be happy with a lower fence. Chairman Sargent noted the committee was concerned both with privacy of individuals and view from "oothill Boulevard. Member Mcharen asked about drainage. The committee discussed with Mr. Muir his plans for correcting these problems,. Mr. Muir told the committee that all changes proposed when application had been previously approved had been made.
