A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CUPERTINO APPROVING APPLICATION 3-GPA-96, GENERAL
PLAN AMENDMENT TO REVISE THE LAND USE
DESIGNATION ON APN 326-15-010 LOCATED AT 22371
CUPERTINO ROAD (CHANG)
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino initiated an application for a General Plan
Amendment as described in this resolution; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices were given in accordance with the
procedure ordinance of the City of Cupertino and the City Council has held at least one
public hearing on the matter; and
WHEREAS, the application, No. 3-GPA-96, requests that the land use
designation on a parcel located at 22371 Cupertino Road be changed from High density
residential 10-20 dwelling units per gross acre to Low density, single family residential
with a density range of 5-10 dwelling units per gross acre.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Cupertino that after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other
evidence submitted in this matter, the application for General Plan Amendment,
Application 3-GPA-96, revising the text of the General Plan, is hereby recommended for
approval; and that the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in
this resolution area based on and contained in the public hearing record concerning
Application 3-GPA-96 as set forth in the minutes of the City Council meeting of
September 3, 1996, and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein.
