A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
APPROVING A COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT IN SERVICE RATES
CHARGED BY LOS ALTOS GARBAGE COMPANY FOR COLLECTION
AND DISPOSAL OF REFUSE
WHEREAS, in accordance with the franchise agreement between the Los Altos
Garbage Company and the City of Cupertino, a cost of living adjustment in service rates
is to be evaluated each year; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the formula established in the agreemem for
computing the adjustment, a 2.78% increase is in order; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Cupertino hereby approves a 2.78% cost of living adjustment for rates charged by Los
Altos Garbage Company for refuse service, as all set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto
and made part hereof, to be effective August 1, 1996.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 15th day of July, 1996, by the following vote.
