CC Resolution No. 9429RESOLUTION NO. 9429 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN ANIMAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WHEREAS, in February 1994 the five West Valley Cities entered into an agreement to provide animal services for its citizens, and WHEREAS, this joint effort has successfully delivered a level of service and cooperation that benefits each of the cities, and WHEREAS, the February 1994 Agreement provides that following the first year of experience the five West Valley Cities are to reach agreement on allocating the costs of the joint animal services program on the basis of services utilized in each municipality, and WHEREAS, the five West Valley Cities have determined the level of usage during the past year, and have recommended a cost allocation system for the 1995 - 96 fiscal year, and WHEREAS, the City Manager should be given authority to execute the cost allocation agreement for subsequent years under the February 1994 agreement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute the Agreement for Animal Services on behalf of the City of Cupertino as a member of the West Valley Cities group.
