RESOLUTION NO. 9051
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ADOPTING A TEXT AMENDMENT TO THE 1993 GENERAL PLAN
AMENDMENT DELETING GENERAL PLAN POLICY 2-38;
HILLSIDE PARCEL CONSOLIDATION AND THE RESIDENTIAL
ALLOCATION OF 5 UNITS FROM THE UNDESIGNATED RESIDENTIAL POOL
WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino received an application for a General Plan
Amendment as described on this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the
Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the City Council has held a meeting
to consider and approved the granting of General Plan Amendment hearing; and
WHEREAS, the General Plan Policy to be deleted is depicted in Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered the potential environmental impacts of
the project and found they were not significant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That ¡iller careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other
evidence submitted in this matter, the application for General Plan Amendment is hereby
approved and the text amendment deleting General Plan Policy 2-38 is hereby adopted.
A residential allocation of 5 units from the undesignated residential pool is also hereby
approved.
That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this
Resolution are based and contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application
2-GPA-93 as set forth in the Minutes of the City Council Meeting of March 7,1994, and
are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino on this 7th day of March, 1994, by the following vote:

Propose General Plan Policy Deletion
Policy 2 38: Hillside Parcel Consolidation
In the 5-20 acre slope density area, require that adjacent
properties with lots less than 5 acres in size be consolidated
if held in common ownership at the time of General Plan
Amendment approval and if only one of the lots is developed.
Consolidation can be achieved by permitting development on only
one of the commonly held parcels.
