CC Resolution No. 9050 RESOLUTION NO. 9050 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1993 GENERAL PLAN LIMITING SUBDIVISION IN REGNART CANYON TO THAT WHICH IS CONSISTENT WITH THE SEMI-RURAL SLOPE DENSITY FORMULA WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino received an application for a General Plan Amendment as described on this Resolution; and WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the City Council has held a meeting to consider and approved the granting of General Plan Amendment hearing; and WHEREAS, the General Plan Text Amendment described in Exhibit A IS necessary to strictly limit subdivision potential in the hillside area; and WHEREAS, the City Council considered the potential environmental irnpacts of the project and found they were not significant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: > That åfter careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for General Plan Amendment is hereby approved and the General Plan Text Amendment described in Exhibit A is hereby adopted. That the subconclusions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution are based and contained in the Public Hearing record concerning Application 2-GPA-93 as set forth in the Minutes of the City Council Meeting of March 7,1994, and are incorporated by reference as though fully set forth herein. Properties previously designated Very Low Density Residential: Semi-Rural 5-Acre Slope Density Formula as described in the amendment to the 1976 General Plan concerning the land use element for the hillside area, may be subdivided utilizing that formula. Properties previously subdivided in conformance with the Very Low Density Residential: Semi-Rural 5-Acre Slope Density Formula, have no further subdivision potential for residential purposes.
