Mr. Chadwick presented his plans for the new construction which will match the existing building. He said the office trail --r left when the Toyoto cars went. Dr. Kowitz asked Mr. Chadwick if he planned to do any land- scaping at this time. Mr. Chadwick said there are six or seven rows of cars'between the building and Stevens Creek Blvd., and -any landscaping around the -building couldn't even be seer_. As to any large aggregate pots with trees or shrubs in them, they would just get in the way of his business operation. Mr. Small said this is one of the finest, cleanest car lots in the area. Mr. Chadwiekr had a catalog along, showing the type of air con- ditioner he plans to use. It will be flush -•mounted on the outside, just below tine window, and won't even be seen. Moved by Mr. Stern, seconded by Mr. Small, to recommend for approval application 11L1--IJC-63 for an addition to the existing building at 20100 Stevens Creek Blvd., subject to the air conditioner being flush with the building; subject to the 10 .gtandard conditions; and subject to the plans as submitted by the applicant. AYES: Messrs. Small, Stern, Kowitz NAYS: bone ABSENT: Mr. Fitch Motion carried, 3-0 V UNFINISHED BUSINESS 1. Mr. Small brought to the attention of the Committee, two Cupertino service stations that could stand some cleaning up. The Building Inspector is asked to speak to them. They are the Texaco & Mibil stations at Homestead and Highway 85. 2. Mr. Small also noted that the alley behind Mayfair Market on Stevens Creek Blvd. needs to be cleaned up, as well as the alley behind tide P & W Market in Portal Plaza. The latter shopping center has a new cleaning establishment with an A frame sign, too, which needs checking up on. J. The Chief Building Inspector is being asked to check on the status of the building being constructed along side the All American Market on Bollinger and Blaney, L!. Moved by Mr. Small, seconded by Mr. Stern, to rescind that portion of the April 26th Minutes regarding the withholding of release of Minutes until they are approved.
