It was recommended they have lighting at the doorways after
closing time, in addition to an interior light, to discourage
foul play.
There was considerable discussion of the type of storage area
to be built at the rear of the building, This will be used to
hold the compressor, garbae-,e cans and charcoal supply. rj'he
applicants decided they would put in a 3z or L!' x 10' concrete
slab with 8' high walls of some fireproof material, a roof, and
a door with a lock for a storage area at the rear of the build-
ing.
Moved by Min. Chalman, secor:ded by Mr. Stern, to recommend ap-
proval of application 213-hC-66, subject to the storage addition_
on the exterior of the building to conform with the present
building; fan and air conditioners on the rcof to be concealed;
subject to the noted added to the submitted plains; sign to be
as per the diagram submitted; landscaping to be included accord-
ing to submitted plans; subject to the 10 Standard H -Control
conditions.

C. Application: 214 -HC --66, Bill Bradner, 2262 Mora Drive,
Mountain View; requesting Architectural and Site Control
approval to erect a sign across the front of the building.
Mr. Bill Bradner_, 2262 Mora Drive, Mountain View, said the pro-
posed sign is for the California Young lJorld Nursery School
and Dance Studio, located at the Simla Lands complex. He said
the studio has a 30' frontage and the sign will cover virtually
the whole acre across the front.
The sign is to be done by a Los Angeles art firm. Colors will
be coral, blue-green and black on a white background, and will
tie in with the signs on the door and the bus. The sign will
be painted directly on the marquee, with slim -line fluorescent
lights across the marquee.
Business hours are usually 9:30 to 11:30 A,M. and 3:30 to
7:30 or 8:00 P.M. Bus transportation for the lessons is
furnished. The bus will be parked out in front, day and night.

V UNFINISHED BUSINESS
The Committee is going to check the sign situation at the
pizza parlor on the corner of Saratoga --Sunnyvale Road and,
Stevens Creek Blvd„, to evaluate whether or not it is over-
exposed. Discussion will continue at the next regular
meeting,
