II CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT
1. Dedication of real property for roadway purposes at
northeast corner of Highway /9 and Bollinger Road.
The City Engineer stated that Mr. Thorsten Beckman's dedication
of property for improvements on Highway 9 was incorrect. That the
way is it presently set forth in Resolution No. 201, Mr. Beckman's
property was in the Highway. This occurred because of some confusion
on the proper center line of Highway 9. As it is presently stated,
If then should be an accident, Mr. Backman would be liable. The
Engineer Staff had written a new description to establish the proper
centerline in relation to Mr. Beckman's property.
Recomme- datior.r Adopt Resolution No. 841 accepting dedication
of right -of -way from Mr. Thorsten Backman, rescinding old Resolution
Mo. 201.
