Couneilasc Balch asked to be excused frog this dtsoumsion Mr. Book based his request on the fact that there would be no homes immediately next door to the Oemco but -ding, and that there was an en- closed area for trash and Its burning, and that the building looks ex- actly the sass on all four sides (so there is no unsightly side); there- fore, there is no real used for the 6 ft. concrete wall In question. Be fw her stated that he wan completely unaware of the condition that a 6 1t. concrete block wall be installed until after the application wag approved, when he applied for the permit. The Mayor pointed out to W. Hook that Exhibit B, condition 5 of which states that a 6 ft. concrete block wall be installed as a buffer between aoninge, is attached to each and every application for this type of zoning, therefore, ignorance cannot be claimed as a valid reason for e13alnating this condition from the rezoning. The rezoning is conditioned by Exhibit B and if all conditions are not met, the resoring is null and void. Councilmen Benetti asked that a vote be taken, as the discussion was tending toward attacking the Ordinance and Its conditions. Councilman Pe1os1 suggested a 3 ft, fence be substituted for the 6 ft. well, with elantlage rotereparsed. Mr. Book stated that he would rather +ut the 6 ft. concrete block wall in as it would be less expensive than a 3 ft. brick wail as wiggested.
