RESOLUTION NO. 05-074
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
THE BAY AREA AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT TO RECEIVE A
TRANSPORTATION FUND FOR CLEAN AIR GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $63,000
TO REDUCE EMISSSIONS FROM SOLID WASTE COLLECTION VEHICLES FOR
RETROFIT OF LOS ALTOS GARBAGE COMPANY REFUSE TRUCKS IN CUPERTINO
WHEREAS, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District has approved a
Transportation Fund for Clean Air grant in the amount of $63,000.00 for the retrofit of seven
existing diesel refuse trucks with emission control devices; and
WHEREAS, in order to receive the grant, Bay Area Air Quality Management District
requires that a funding agreement between Bay Area Air Quality Management District and the
City of Cupertino be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Cupertino
hereby authorizes the City Manager to a execute a funding agreement with Bay Area Air Quality
Management District in order to receive a Transportation Fund for Clean Air grant in the
allocated amount of $63,000.00.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 3ro day of May 2005, by the following vote:
