A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 18-115 WHICH ADOPTED THE CITY OF
CUPERTINO CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT FOR ELECTED AND
APPOINTED OFFICIALS
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2018, the City Council adopted Resolution 18-115
adopting the City of Cupertino Code of Ethics and Conduct for Elected and Appointed
Officials; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires appropriate time to consider the item and
the opportunity to provide input on the development of the Code; therefore, on
December 18, 2018, the City Council voted to form an ad-hoc sub-committee to review
and rewrite a Code of Ethics and Conduct; and
WHERE AS , the City Council wishes to rescind Resolution No. 18-115 which
adopted the Code of Ethics and Conduct to allow for the Code of Ethics and Conduct
to be rewritten.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
rescind Resolution No. 18-115.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Cupertino this 15th day of January 2019, by the following vote.
