Muni Madhdhipatla Profile Page .pdf
Dear Mr. Mayor Steven Scharf & City Council,
As you may know, I am submitting myself to be one of the c01mnissioner on Bicycle and Pedestrian
Commission to serve my community. I firmly believe in giving back 10% of my time to the community. This
commission opportunity will provide that avenue for me.
As an avid biker, I would look for ways to improve biking safety and promote ways to embrace biking as a form
of commute to schools and work. I will put my community engagement skills to work to help achieve some
meaningful results on this front.
Looking forward to meeting you in person on January 29 at 5 .21 pm.
I attached my 1 page profile for your reference.
Cheers

Property Tax Write Off Limits and Interest Rate changes that have affected the ability of prospective
buyers and investors in the Bay Area. The last decade has seen many buyers move away from the
neighborhood of their first choice forcing them to consider neighboring cities and even out of state

• Affordability -Income, Commute, Demographics-The data of the qualified workforce does not have the
ability to afford the housing prices in many high demand pockets. This has increased commute time and
affected overall choices of housing requirements across many cities including ours at Cupertino

• Seasoned technology professional -Expertise in Web (application) development,
Data analytics and Infrastructure projects including data transfers/ storage and
operations . While we have community experts in the SG, Fiber and other networking
domains, I will be looking at these projects from an end user
(residents/business/partners) perspective and provide guidance accordingly.
• Analytical -I am passionate about the data analysis and use of the data to make
informed decisions in business or in the city government. I would like to use these skills
to research and analyze soon to be developed wireless master plan and provide
guidance and feedback. Also, I can help City IT staff to enable handling and analysis of
the data we collect and use for the benefit of our community(Open Data/Open

• Entrepreneurial-As a founder of technology in Special education website with over
200K followers , I can help City to build and provide services for the special needs
children, adults and their families. Enabling that part of a community through the
technology is one great service city can offer. I am planning to use these skills in
supporting our teens (or collaborating through teen commission) to create new
programs.
• Operational efficiency -I helped streamline the business operations by understanding
the business processes and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency,
reduce cost and improve quality. I am going to be using these skills in encouraging the
city to build People First Smart Cities.
• Vendor management : As part of mobile communications business unit at my

5. Probably 60-70% accessible over mobile devices and we can enforce re li able
way to communicate with 2-fa.
6. What do you know about broadband Internet access via DSL and Cable Modems?
My first Modem: 9600 Baud USR (1996); Using 100Mbps cable on now.

Recently we have been using Wifi Modems in mobile devices that are powering
carrier data connections and Mifi services

candidates? Do we do any campus visits -say high schools -they are pretty
good talent or did we reach out to seniors

had an issue late last year due to some data migration efforts
