RESOLUTION NO. 3585
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ORDERING VACATION 01' A PORTION OF IMPERIAL AVENUE PUR-
SUANT TO SECTI0N 8320 ET. SEQ., STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
HHEREAS, hearing on Resolution of Intention No. 3576 was held on
November 19, 1973 at a r~gular meeting of the City Council at 10300 Torre
Avenue, Cupertinot California; and
~IEREAS, it appears that notice thereof was duly given as required by
law; and
vffiEREAS, from the evidence presented, both oral and documentary, it
appears to be to the best interests of the City to vacate the hereinafter
described portion of a city street; that said portion of said city street
is unnecessz.ry for present or prospective public street purposes;
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That all or any protests against the vacation of said portion
of a city street be and hereby are overruled and denied;
2. That that certain portion of a city street described and shown
in Exhibits "A" and "E" attached hereto and made p8.rt hereof, be and
hereby is vacated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the City Clerk be and hereby is instructed and directed to cause
a certified copy of this resolution, attested to and sealed w~th the
official seal of the City, to be recorded with the County Recorder of the
County of Santa Clara, California, forthwith.

Description of the Portion of
Imperial Avenue to be Abandoned
All that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, being a portion of Imperial Avenue (74.00
feet wide) as shown on that certain Parcel Map recorded in Book 284 of Maps
at page 35, Santa Clara County Records more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of Parcel 2 as shown on said Parcel
Map, being also a point in the general westerly line of Imperial Avenue as
shown on said Map;
thence l"aving said general >oesterly line, N. 0"01'00" Ii'., 37.76 feet;
thence No. 89"51'05" E., 101. 76 feet to a point in the general easterly line
of said Imperial Avenue, being also the most northwesterly corner of Parcel 3
as shO\vn on said Hap;
thence along said general easterly line in a southeasterly direction, along a
non-tangent curve to the right, having a radius of 287.00 feet, concave to
the southwest, whose center bears S. 31"00' 46" H., through a central angle of
39"52'26", an arc length of 199.73 feet;
thence continuing along said general easterly line, S. 19"06'4~' E., 662.82
feet;
thence leaving said general easterly line in a westerly, southwesterly and
southerly direction, along a non-tangent curve to the left, having a radius
of 60.00 feet, concave to the East, whose center bears S. 13"21'55" E.,
through a central angle of 110"59'44", an arc length of 116.23 feet to a
point of cusp, being also a point in the general westerly line of said
Imperial Avenue;
thence along said general westerly line, the following courses:
thence in a northwesterly direction along a non-tangent curve to the right",
having a radius of 287.00 feet, concave to the east, whose center bears
N. 55"38'21" E., through a central angle of 15°14'51", an arc length of 76.38
feet;
thence No. 19°06'48" W., 662.82 feet;
thence along a tangent curve to the left, having a radius of 213.00 f"et,
through a central angle of 58"22'51", an arc length of 217.03 feet to the
Point of Beginning.
