RE: Tree Removal Application, 10880 Northpoint Avenue
Dear Community Development Department,
I recommend removing three dead alders and one dying alder at Northpoint HOA.
Tree A (tree tag #229) is dead (see attached map & photograph).
Tree B (tree tag #232) is dying due to root rot. (see attached map & photograph). The tree is in a
spiral of decline. No treatment will keep it from dying.
Tree C (tree tag #943) is dead (see attached map & photograph).
Tree D (tree tag #958) is dead (see attached map & photograph).
We propose planting the following replacement trees in the same locations of the removals:
Replacement for Tree A:
Replacement for Tree B:
Replacement for Tree C:

36" box Tilia americana
Replacement for Tree D: 36" box Tilia americana
Please approve this removal as soon as possible as we would like to remove the four trees the
week of December 17-21, 2018.
