SECTION 1• FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino has received an
application for a zoning or prezoning, as described on Page 2 of this
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the necessary public notices have been given in accordance with
the Procedural Ordinance of the City of Cupertino, and the Planning
Co mnissicn has held one or more Public Hearings on the subject
application; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Cammission finds that the subject zoning or prezone
meets the following requirements:
1) Encourages the most appropriate use of land.
2) Conserves and stabilizes the value of property.
3) Provides for adequate access to light and air.
4) Permits adequate control of fires.
5) Protects public health, safety and welfare.
6) Promotes the orderly development of the City.
7) Benefits the property arra improvements in the zoning district and
neighborhood in which the property is locate4.
NOW, TFOU9ORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and
other evidence submitted in this matter, the application for zoning or
prezone is hereby reo=exxied for approval; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the suboonclusions upon which the findings and conditicns specified
in this Resolution are based upon are contained in the Public Hearing
record concerning Application 2-Z-89 as set forth in the Minutes of the
Planning Coanissicn meeting of April 24, 1989, and are incorporated by
reference as though fully set forth herein.
