Background
This report is concerning one (1) tree located at 20450 Stevens Creek Boulevard, Cupertino, CA.
Information
The property is known as Cupertino City Center, owned and managed by Prometheus. For the

Observations
• Pyrus calleryana 'Bradford' #1 is located on a lawn along Stevens Creek Blvd, near a cafe
area
• The tree is dead and has no visible foliage of any kind
Testing and
There were no soil, tree or other physical testings.
Analysis
Discussion
A Plus Tree, Inc. began treating Pyrus calleryana 'Bradford' #1 in 2017. The tree was observed to be
infected with fire blight, and was treated with a bark application of Fire Blight treatment. The same
treatment was repeated in early 2018. Since these applications, the tree has died and is a potential
hazard to the property and pedestrians.
Recommendations
The recommendation is that this tree be removed from the landscape, and be replaced with a 24" Box
aristocrat pear in the same location. Locations of the removal and replacement locations are in the
attachments below.
A Plus recommends removing the one tree stated above.
