Information The property is known as Cupertino City Center, owned and managed by Prometheus. For the "client" remainder of this report, Cupertino City Center will be referred to as the property. Assignment (and I was asked to evaluate one (1) tree; I was to review their health, structural integrity and make a any limiting recommendation: 'Bradford' 1. Pyrus calleryana (Callery pear), 10.5" DBH factors) Observations Pyrus calleryana #1 is located along the northwest perimeter of the property, along the sidewalk. The tree is dead, there is deadwood throughout, and no live foliage visible on the tree. Please see photos in Attachment 1 for further observations. Testing and There were no soil, tree or other physical testings. Analysis Discussion Pyrus calleryana #1 is dead due to poor health and location. The tree is next to high pedestrian areas such as buildings, sidewalk, and along Stevens Creek Boulevard. Recommendations The recommendation is that the one (1) tree be removed from the landscape, and be replaced with one (1) Pyrus calleryana 24" box tree in the same location. Locations of the removal and replacement locations are in the Attachments I below. A Plus recommends removing the one (1) tree stated above. Location of Trees to be removed 7.
